The 2020 IPAA National Conference, IPAAeX Reinventing Service, was announced by Ms Madeleine Culbert, CEO of IPAA New South Wales, at the close of the 2019 IPAA National Conference held recently in Darwin.

Ms Culbert said “IPAAeX is shaping up as being a huge event for the public sector in Australia — we have deliberately chosen to shake up the traditional conference format by taking a TED-style approach to exploring how the notion of service will evolve in a new decade.

“We are planning to weave these TED-style addresses into a program that will also provide opportunities for delegates to connect with colleagues by visiting an IPAAeX Hub and ‘Meet the Speakers’ theatrette,” said Ms Culbert.

IPAAeX will be Australia’s premier event for the public sector in 2020, comprising a one day conference on Tuesday 12 May at Riverside Theatres, Parramatta, Sydney with a conference dinner and the Garran Oration to be held the evening before at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney.

A call for speakers to present one of fifteen TED-style addresses exploring how the notion of service will evolve in the new decade is now open.
