Becoming an IPAA member is a great way to demonstrate your commitment to the profession of public administration.
Individual memberships are offered by all IPAA Divisions, with most also offering organisational or corporate memberships.
In return IPAA:
- provides members with exclusive development and networking opportunities with public sector professionals, leading academics and others who share an interest in public administration
- gives members full online access to IPAA’s journal — the Australian Journal of Public Administration
- offers members discounted ticket prices to the annual IPAA National Conference and Garran Oration.

Members of IPAA Queensland are connected to information, people and opportunities across all levels of government in Queensland. They also get opportunities to broaden professional connections through IPAA’s relationships with leading academics, industry leaders, and the leaders of community organisations.

IPAA Queensland offers two types of individual membership as well as organisational membership.

IPAA New South Wales offers two types of individual membership: professional and affiliate.
