Governance
IPAA’s National Council generally meets three times each year and operates in accordance with its Constitution and Corporate Governance Charter.
Andrew Metcalfe AO FIPAA is the IPAA National President. He is the former Secretary of the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
Samantha Palmer is the IPAA National Secretary. She is the General Manager of Austrade’s Visitor Economy and Client Programs Division.
David Francis FCPA is the IPAA National Treasurer. He is Manager Prime & Budget, Corporate & Performance, Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
Professional Janine O’Flynn represents IPAA ACT. She is the director of the ANU Crawford School of Public Policy.
Mark Webb represents IPAA NSW. He is Chief Executive, NSW Department of Parliamentary Services, NSW Parliament.
Nicole Hurwood represents IPAA NT. She is Northern Territory Commissioner for Public Employment.
Deidre Mulkerin represents IPAA Queensland. She is the Director-General, Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs, Queensland Government.
Erma Ranieri PSM FIPAA represents IPAA South Australia. She is the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment, Government of South Australia.
Melanie Brown represents IPAA Tasmania. She is Assistant Director, Department of Premier and Cabinet, Tasmanian Government.
Jenny Atta PSM represents IPAA Victoria. She is the Secretary of the Department of Education.
Jenness Gardner represents IPAA WA. She is the Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Regulation Authority WA.
