2024 will see the third Frances Adamson Oration following its establishment in 2022. The first oration was delivered by Her Excellency Frances Adamson AO, Governor of South Australia. The event was named in honour of the Governor to mark the United Nations Public Service Day, celebrated on 23 June each year.

In line with the United Nation’s focus on celebrating the value and virtue of public service to the community, this IPAA National oration engages the broader public sector to reflect on and celebrate the critical role played by the public service and the institutional and individual integrity, resilience, and challenges in the service.
