How important is connection and collaboration to service transformation?
Dr David Gruen, Australian Statistician
Australian Bureau of Statistics
The Australia Statistician, Dr David Gruen, will join Australia Post’s Fiona da Silva in a conversation on connection and collaboration for service transformation as part of the 2021 IPAA National Conference, Riding the Wave of Service Transformation, being held in Brisbane and live streamed on 14–15 October 2021.
David and Fiona will be part of a panel discussion that explores the importance of connection and collaboration across agencies and sectors, and with communities and citizens to fully realising an inclusive digital economy.
David has led the Australian Bureau of Statistics as Agency Head since late 2019, and was previously the Deputy Secretary, Economic and Australia’s G20 Sherpa at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. He also has experience with the Australian Treasury and the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Fiona is Australia Post’s General Manager (Portfolio Solutions and Engineering), and has held several senior roles with Australia Post since 2014. In her current role Fiona is responsible for leading Australia Post in responding to change — specifically through the digital disruption accelerated through the recent pandemic, and exploring opportunities to ensure that the services of Australia Post remain relevant and accessible to all Australians.
Live stream tickets for the conference are now on sale, and early bird tickets for those attending in-person are available until 13 September.
