IPAA will be calling for expressions of interest in June from interested parties to take over the editorship of the Australian Journal of Public Administration (AJPA) from 1 January 2022.

The AJPA is the journal of record on public administration, public management, and public policy in Australia. It has been in continuous publication since 1937.

The current team of editors, Professor Catherine Althaus, Professor Helen Dickinson, Ms Maria Katsonis and Professor Janine O’Flynn have indicated their desire to end their stewardship of the journal in December 2021, following two terms in their roles.

Details on the upcoming expression of interest process will be advertised in the June 2021 issue of the AJPA and made available on IPAA’s national website.

In the interim, the current editors welcome any questions regarding the editorship of the AJPA from interested parties.
